Facilities

GRANGE PPS are delighted to have made a successful appliaction to extend the school and have been granted to the following:

  • A new state of the Art Home Economics Lab
  • A new state of the Art Woodwork/ Construction Lab
  • Three new full sized general clasrooms
  • New toilet blocks for male and female students
  • New circulation areas

The build Project is currently underway with the appointment of a Design Team to deliver the project pending.

A second phase is expected to follow to create the following spaces:

  • The exisiting woodwork room will be converted into a specialised Music Room.
  • A larger foyer (double existing size) will be created in the centre of the school to include a canteen and seating area.
  • The existing canteen will be converted into a student library.
  • These expansions will greatly enhance our existing fine facilities and allow us to cater for an ever incresing enrolment we have achieved over the last five years in particular.

Our existing facilities include a wide range of modern facilities:

  • Modern, fully equipped Art/Craft Room
  • Two Computer Rooms catering for classes of 30 students
  • Two fully equipped portable laptop trollies Interactive Whiteboards
  • Data Projectors/ Apple TV in all classrooms
  • Office 365 is available to all students.
  • Updated wireless broadband with access in every room
  • Concourse Area
  • Canteen
  • State of the art Engineering Room fitted with innovative technology
  • Two 3D Printers
  • Access to VSware in every classroom allows for computerised production of Attendance Records, Reports, and recording of merits / demerits to ensure a full and accurate profiling of every student.
  • SMS Messaging which allows Grange Post Primary School to send text messages to Staff, Students and Parents/Guardians. Parents can be notified following roll call when unauthorised absences occur.
  • Fabulous sports facilities on site- astroturf pitch, soccer pitch, basketball courts, running track, use of the fully equipped community complex for indoor sports and use of the local GAA club grounds.
